The Living areas

The house comprises two parts-the main living areas with two double bedrooms are accessed from the double doored entrance on the top level. The level below has a separate entrance to 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom and a small kitchenette.

From the main hallway, where there is a cloakroom, double doors lead into the sitting room of a spacious 6.5x5 metres, it has large french windows which lead to a terrace surrounded by bougainvillea. The sitting room has television, a DVD player and some 300 books.

A large opening leads into the dining room (just over 4 metres square) with an oak table for 8 and magnificent views of the Bay through more large french windows.

The Kitchen

Off this is the very light spacious new oak kitchen with granite work surfaces. It has mostly Bosch appliances including a 5 burner hob, two built in ovens/grills, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. It is extensively equipped with pots, pans, toaster, crockery, glassware and cutlery. The utility room is on the lower level and has a washing machine and tumble dryer. A rotary clothesline is provided as this is much the quickest method of drying clothes except for the winter months.

The Bedrooms.

In the main part of the house the two spacious bedrooms have 5 foot double beds, they have large fitted wardrobes & each its own en-suite facilities. One with a large double ended bath, walk in thermostatically controlled shower, washbasin & loo.

The other with a large corner shower with curved glass door, washbasin & loo. Each bedroom has French doors which lead onto different terraces with their own unique view.

The Entrance

Outside

From the private road there are two entrances through the high garden wall. The first leads through a wrought iron gate to a sheltered terrace on the east side of the house which benefits from the early morning sun & is ideal for breakfast. It is surrounded by garden with Aloe, Bougainvillea, Jasmine, Hibiscus, Agave, Wisteria and other shrubs.

The West Terrace

On the west side is a very large terrace with magnificent views of the bay. There is an 8 seater teak table and chairs, a large parasol, a gas barbecue and plenty of sunbeds. For late evening eating there are 6 outside lights. Outdoor living at its best!

The Lower Level

On the level below are 2 large bedrooms, both with twin beds, fitted wardrobes & chests of drawers. One overlooks the pool area with views to the mountains and easy access to its own terrace, the other has french windows which lead onto a shady terrace with views of the bay. They share a large bathroom which has been newly fitted out with large double ended bath, shower over and glass folding shower door, washbasin and loo. There is also a small kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle & sink unit. Bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided with weekly changes. This terrace has a smaller table & chairs plus a large Barbecue. It has views of the bay & large wrought iron gates lead to a new area of garden where you can play Boule or just relax & watch the beautiful sunsets.

The Pool

Still lower the swimming pool measures 10mx5m and 1.4m deep with its own terrace & garden surround. It is heated in the winter months. Cleaning and maintenance are provided. Beyond the pool is an orchard with oranges, lemons, limes, nispero, plums, tangerines, almonds & apples.
